Matthew had once been a corrupt tax collector, but his life forever changed when Jesus approached his tax booth one day and simply said, “follow me.” Matthew took Jesus up on the offer and left his former life behind. The transformed Mathew spent the next few years observing everything Jesus said and did...teachings and miracles. Jesus was the fulfillment of the Old Testament prophecies of the Messiah-God-in-the-flesh.
